Becoming the first university to reach space using a reusable rocket.

Karman Space Programme was founded by four engineering students at Imperial College London with the objective of making life on earth better through space.

In addition to their technical objectives, the programme is designed to set undergraduate and postgraduate students up for the future. Members have gone on to achieving the following:

  • Getting postgraduate offers at top universities (e.g. MIT, Harvard, etc)

  • Creating their own startups (aerospace, maritime, AI, etc).

  • Working at top companies (e.g. Bloomberg, Optiver, Airbus, etc)

  • Establishing well-funded venture capital firms

  • and more!

REDEFINING STUDENT ENGINEERING

The most powerful student-built reusable rocket is planned to be launched in 2025 by Karman Space Programme. The rocket is the culmination of 4 years of research.

The programme is also actively working on other technologies such as autonomous vertical landing of rockets and providing internet access using high-altitude balloons.
